Nintendo Gamecube Region Switch Service

Send in your Gamecube console to be region unlocked with a switch!

This is a hardware modification. Please note that we will be drilling a hole in the back of your Gamecube's shell near the DC port to fit a switch. If you do not want your original shell being altered, please purchase and send in your own spare rear housing piece to be used, or perhaps take a look at our XENO chip service. 

The switch that we will be adding will allow for American or Japanese gameplay, allowing you to play both regions on one console depending on which way you flip the switch. 

You must reset your console when you flip the switch in order to change back to the opposite region. The console's boot screen will remain the same, but it will then load the correct disk for the region selected. If you do not have the correct region selected, it will not read the disk. 

Please be aware you will want to have a separate memory card for each region game played. If you save an NTSC game onto a memory card that already has JPN saves on it, it will corrupt the JPN saves and turn that memory card to NTSC.

Memory cards are not included.

Please test and make sure that your console is in full working condition before sending it in. If issues are found, repairs may be suggested and will require additional costs.
